For an exterior ladder on your 2013 Forest River XLR Thunderbolt I recommend the Stromberg Carlson Exterior RV Ladder # LA-401. This ladder measures 99-1/2 tall x 12" wide and can be trimmed down if needed. The ladder is also compatible with the extension # LA-148. This will allow you to close the distance to the ground when you use the ladder. If you would prefer black we also have the # LA-401BA.

When you say upgrade do you mean replace with better components or just replace what you have as it's worn out? Either way the first bit of info I need is the capacity of the axles on your trailer and the length of the leaf springs. Also what's the dimensions of the equalizers you have? I'd need distance from left to right between the bolt holes and vertically as well. To find the correct replacement Hydraulic Cylinder for the slide out of the 2017 Forest River XLR Thunderbolt you'll need to measure the distance from the center of the port to the center of the other port.
Since you measured 32" I'm assuming you'll need the Lippert Replacement Hydraulic Cylinder for RV Slide-Out # LC42FR which has a port to port length of 31-1/2", but I highly recommend remeasuring the find the correct fit. view full answer...
There unfortunately is no guide to tell us the size of your screen door slider so you'll have to either measure your old slider or the track to determine the correct size. You'll also need to make sure that the slide will provide enough clearance for the door latch. For example, the Lippert Motor Home Entry Screen Door Bubble Slider Panel # LC234101 is 12" x 12" and has a 13/16" depth to accommodate a screen door latch.

With the Fan-Tastic roof vents there isn't a replacement circuit board available but you can replace the "guts" of the vent with the # FV803358 which does take care of the circuit boards and lift/fan motors.

The Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC145546 that you referenced is a kit of two equalizers. These are rated for use on axles with capacities between 5,000 lbs and 8,000 lbs. So since your 15k trailer would most likely have a pair of 8k axles this kit would work great at smoothing out your ride quality as well as being properly weight rated. view full answer...
Tri Pods do give you a major boost in stabilization, but a system like the JT Strong Arm Stabilizer Kit # LC191025 will be much more stabilizing. Why? Well you are taking your current jack and adding two separate components, creating a larger spread compared to scissor jacks. Also creating two bigger triangles will result in more stabilization. So, the Strong Arm Jack Stabilization is the more stable route.

Hey Tim, I have attached a chart that shows all of the recommended torque specs for trailer wheels. I am not sure of the exact stud size your 2017 Forest River Thunderbolt uses, but it is probably either 1/2" or 9/16". If they are 1/2" they should be torqued to 90-120 ft lbs. If they are the 9/16" studs it will be 120-140 ft lbs, assuming they are steel wheels. If you have something different you can find the correct torque spec on the chart below. view full answer...
